I hereby commence the *official* thread of cool places to visit around kyoto.

Rules:
- It must have parking...
- No inner city lame-ass bars and clubs; the first person to say "hub" gets their ass moderated. I'm thinking more along the lines of Kyoto-fu rather than the places everyone knows in the city.

Cool places in Kyoto-

There is the wonderful Cafe Nozomi for eats, especially lunch. The old, old-sushi had a bit of info on it that I wrote lovingly, only to have it blown into the maelstrom by the hands of Jod.

Goddamn, I said no lame cafe/bars. I mean, like, fun places. Like spo-cha on route 1 towards Osaka. Thats ace. Stuff like that. Day trips etc.

There's a casino bar in Tango which I am led to believe is pretty cool, proper vegas style tables, and you bet credits that you can redeem against drinks. Going on the 3rd, will report back.
