I guess I always thought that gaijin aren't allowed to certain places. Turns out they are, at least if they're accompanied by a japanese guy. A new found Mie friend took me out on the town in Yokkaichi last week. He was pointing out various establishment throughout the town centre (I say town centre, but Yokkaichi basicaly just consists of a large red-light ditrict, with a few Izakayas thrown in for good luck).

He points up to some "spa-land" place, says its the best in town. The japanese tout walks over to me, and whispers in my ear - "high school girl, sekusu? sekusu hoshii?"

Of course, I didnt actually go in, but let it be known that gaijin are not denied access to everywhere underground in japan.

Next, we plan to visit a 20 minute orgy-auction in southern Osaka.

That is pretty surprising though. Just goes to show that business is business and they need it, since Yokkaichi isnt exactly Shinsaibashi or that-place-in-Tokyo-that-I-cant-think-of-the-name-of...
