joe	I just watched this new Ghibli animation that Aniki mentioned in the Blurb a while back and wondered if anyone else has seen it? Its not what I was expecting, just 30 minutes long and not 1 audible spoken word througout. It wasnt lacking its fair share of Ghibli-esque wierdness either... But still, the 30 minutes ended, and I realised that I had enjoyed it, with no idea why! Had it have been anything other than Ghibli I would have probably turned it off after the first few minutes, and even though I'm unsure what the message was, or if there even was one... aniki	The other new one, from Miyazakis son, what was it called .. it sucks too, btw. Not sure whats gone wrong. Miyazaki senior needs to teach Miyazaki junior a little bit better methinks. 2007-09-05 10:51:36

Aerin	Are we talking about Ged o Senki? I saw it in theaters and it was beautiful, but my Japanese is terrible so I didn't get much of it. I just rented the other day for the english subtitles, but it wasn't me at all the story really doesn't hold together well. Even if you have read the books. 2007-09-05 14:00:04
joe	Yer I sculpted my own version of events while watching it in the theatre, and was able to enjoy it despite not understanding everything. Thats what I love about it though. If you can enjoy a movie in a completely different language, it cant be bad! 2007-09-06 09:27:18
